THE MOTHER of a child who fell an broke his arm after falling from a bumpy castle at an event at Shipston Sports and Social Club last year is suing the club.
Cllr Keith Rutter said the accident happened during a cricket tournament and now the child’s mother was suing the club after contacting a “no win, no fee” firm of solicitors.
Cllr Rutter told the town council meeting on Monday that the club’s insurance assessor visited the club earlier that day and was “quite self-assured he can win the case”.

“It will be very bad for the sports club if they do have to find some money for this lady,” he said.
